Recipes - Miscellaneous

Firecracker Mix

1/4 Cup Worcestershire Sauce
4 teaspoons Butter Buds
1/4 Cup Hot Water
2 Tablespoons Brown Sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons Salt
1/2 to 1 teaspoon Cayenne Pepper
12 Cups Air Popped Popcorn (about 1/3 Cup un-popped)
1 (12 oz.) Package Corn Chex (about 11 Cups)
8 oz. Thin Pretzel Sticks
Butter Flavored Cooking Spray

Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Mix butter buds and water together until dissolved. Add Worcestershire, brown sugar, salt and cayenne pepper in a small cup. Set aside. Spray a large roasting pan (17"X11.5") with cooking spray. Place half each of popped corn, cereal and pretzels in pan and drizzle with 1/2 of the Worcestershire mixture. Use a spoon to drizzle the mixture. Just dip the spoon, and then let the mixture slide onto the cereal making swirling motions to keep the popcorn from getting soggy. Bake for 30 minutes, stirring once halfway through baking. Cool mixture on counter top covered with waxed paper. Repeat with remaining ingredients. Store in an airtight container.
