Stuffed Burgers
1/4 Cup Egg Substitute
1 Cup Water
1 (6 oz.) Box Stove Top Stuffing Mix
1/2 teaspoon Minced Garlic (from Jar)
2 Green Onions, sliced thin
1 pound 96% Lean Ground Beef
In a medium bowl, combine the egg substitute and water. Stir in the
stuffing mix and let sit for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add
the garlic, onions and ground beef; mix well with your hands to
combine. Divide into 11 balls (approx. 1/3 cup each). Spray a large
skillet with non-stick cooking spray. Place each ball (3-4 at a time
depending on how big your skillet is) and mash down lightly with a
spatula to flatten into patties. Cook over medium heat on each side
until the meat is no longer pink in the middle. Serve on light hamburger
buns along with your favorite toppings for additional points.
