4 Sheets Athen's 9" x
14" Fillo Dough, thawed
1 Cup Fat Free Shredded Cheddar Cheese
1 (12 oz.) Package Morningstar Farms Sausage Style Veggie Crumbles
1 Cup Southwestern Style Egg Beaters
2/3 Cup Skim Milk
1/4 teaspoon Salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Spray a 9" deep pie dish with butter
flavored cooking spray. Place the fill sheets (2 horizontal and 2
vertical) into the bottom and up the sides of the dish, spraying a
little cooking spray between each layer so they stick together. Trim
any excess dough that goes past the edge of the dish and lay into
the bottom of the dish. Bake until flaky and golden (approx. 8-10
minutes). Allow to cool slightly so you don't burn yourself.
Sprinkle 1/2 of the cheese into the bottom of the pie dish. Top with
the sausage crumbles, and then sprinkle the remaining cheese on top.
In a small bowl, whisk together the egg beaters, milk, salt and
pepper. Pour the egg mixture evenly over the cheese. Bake for 30-35
minutes or until the eggs are firm. Allow to cool slightly before
slicing.
