Meatball Stuffed
Biscuits
2 (7.5 oz.) Cans
Pillsbury Buttermilk Biscuits
20 Gardenburger Meatless Meatballs, thawed
2 (1 oz.) Sticks of Frigo Light String Cheese
1 Tablespoon Kraft Reduced Fat Parmesan Style Grated Topping
1/2 teaspoon dried Italian Seasoning
1/4 teaspoon Garlic Powder
Pizza Sauce for dipping (optional)
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Spray an 8 or 9 inch (round or square)
cake pan with non-stick cooking spray; set aside. Cut each cheese
stick into 10 pieces. Separate the biscuits so you have 20 biscuits.
With the palm of your hand, press down on each biscuit to form a 3"
circle. Place 1 meatball onto the center of the flattened biscuit
and press one piece of cheese into the meatball. It's ok if the
meatball breaks apart. Pull the edges of the dough to the center of
the meatball and press the edges to seal. Place each biscuit, seam
side down into the cake pan. Once all of the biscuits are in the
pan, sprinkle the parmesan, italian seasoning and garlic powder
evenly on top. Bake for 15-17 minutes, or until golden and the
biscuits are no longer doughy in the center. Let stand for a minute
then serve. Dip biscuits in warm pizza sauce for additional points
(depending on how much you use).
Note: The biscuits used in this recipe come packaged with 4 cans.
The nutritional info will be 3 biscuits for 3 points.
