Strawberry Frozen Yogurt
5 ounces
Frozen, Unsweetened Strawberries
1 Cup Splenda Granular
1/2 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
1 Cup Plain Nonfat Yogurt
1 Large Egg White
1/3 Cup Nonfat Dry Milk Powder
1/3 Cup Water
Place all ingredients into a blender and blend just until smooth.
Pour into an ice cream canister and freeze according to
manufacturer's directions. If you don't have an ice cream maker,
pour the prepared ingredients into an 8x8 inch pan, cover with foil
or plastic wrap, and place into the freezer. Freeze until solid.
Break frozen mixture into pieces; spoon into a food processor and
process until soft but not melted. Repeat freezing and processing
one or two more times for a smoother and creamier texture if
desired. Store in an airtight plastic container and freeze. This is
best eaten when it's just hard enough to scoop. If you have to store
it in the freezer for longer than a couple of hours, check the
firmness about 1 hour before serving time.
