Simple Sorbets

Berry Blend

1 (20 oz.) Can Crushed Pineapple, in juice
1 1/2 Cups Water
1 1/2 Cups Splenda Granular
1 Cup Frozen Mixed Berries, thawed
1 Cup Orange Juice
3 Tablespoons Lemon Juice

Mix Water and Splenda together. Add all ingredients (except lemon juice) in a 2 quart sauce pan set over medium - high heat. Once the pan comes to a boil, remove from heat and puree with a stick blender, or a little at a time in a regular blender. Use a fine mesh sieve to strain the puree and add the lemon juice. Chill completely, and pour into an ice cream maker. Once the mixture becomes thick, transfer it to a freezer safe container, and continue freezing until hard, stirring occasionally. 

Serves: 10 (1/2 Cup Each)
Per Serving: 71 Calories; trace Fat (1.1% calories from fat); 1g Protein; 18g Carbohydrate; 1g Dietary Fiber; 0mg Cholesterol; 2mg Sodium. Exchanges: 1 Fruit. WWP: 1
