Pork with Apples
and Sauerkraut
1 Pound
Boneless Pork Top Loin Chops
1/4 teaspoon Salt
1/4 teaspoon Pepper
1 teaspoon Olive Oil
1 Packet Splenda
3 Medium Golden Delicious Apples, peeled and chopped into small
pieces
1/4 teaspoon Cinnamon
1 Cup Sauerkraut*
1/4 teaspoon Caraway Seed
Spray a skillet with non-stick cooking spray. Cook the pork on both
sides to brown and then cut into bite size pieces. Spray your
crockpot with non-stick cooking spray. Place the pork into the
crockpot followed by the salt, pepper, oil, Splenda, apples,
cinnamon, sauerkraut and caraway seed. Mix well to combine. Cover
and cook on low for 3 hours or until the apples are tender and the
pork is no longer pink.
*Use sauerkraut that comes in a glass jar. The kind in the metal can
tends to taste like metal.
Serves: 3 (approx. 1 Cup Each)
