Recipes - Crockpot

Cinnamon Applesauce

6.5 Cups Peeled and Chopped Cooking Apples
2 Tablespoons Lemon Juice
3/4 Cup Splenda Granular
2 Tablespoons Brown Sugar
1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon

Spray crockpot with butter flavored cooking spray. In the prepared crockpot, combine the apples, lemon juice, Splenda, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Mix well to combine. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours. Mash well with a potato masher. You can puree the mixture in a blender if you want smooth applesauce. Refrigerate any leftovers. You can eat this warm or cold. To warm, simply heat it in the microwave. This is also good on toast, pancakes, waffles, and ice cream.
