Recipes - Crockpot

 

 

 

 

Navajo Beef & Chili

1 1/2 Lbs. Round Steak, Cut into 3/4" Cubes
2 Large Onions, diced
4 Large Cloves Garlic, minced
2 (14.5 oz.) Cans Mexican Stewed Tomatoes, chopped
2 (4 oz.) Cans diced Green Chilies, drained
2 (8 5. oz) Cans Mexican Whole Kernel Corn, undrained
3 teaspoons Dried Oregano
2 teaspoons Ground Cumin
1/2 teaspoon Ground Red Pepper
6 Tablespoons Yellow Cornmeal


Spray crockpot with non-stick spray. Combine all ingredients, except cornmeal, mixing well. Place in crockpot, cover and cook on low for 7-8 hours. Turn control to high, and stir in cornmeal. Cover and cook on high 20-25 minutes. 

Serves: 9 (1 Cup Each)
