Hearty Cabbage
Soup
2 Cups
Shredded Cabbage
2/3 Cup Uncooked Instant Rice
1 (16 oz.) Can Fat Free Chicken Broth
2 1/2 Cup Hot Water
1 (8 oz.) Can Tomato Sauce
1/2 Cup Shredded Carrots
1/2 Cup Finely Chopped Onion
1 (16 oz.) Can Tomatoes, chopped and undrained
1/2 Cup Picante Sauce
1 Tablespoon Splenda Granular
1 teaspoon Dill Weed or Italian Seasoning
1/8 teaspoon Black Pepper
Spray crockpot with cooking spray. In prepared container, combine
cabbage, rice, broth, water and tomato sauce. Stir in carrots and
onion. Add undrained tomatoes, picante sauce, Splenda, dill weed and
pepper. Mix well to combine. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours. Mix
well before serving.
